Sir, I believe that I speak for everyone when I say that we were ALL proud to serve on the Bee, no matter when we did - she was a ship that was incredibly well put together, and that started with you. Traditionally, things get "handed down" in the Navy, so obviously, we inherited the best experiences of our lives from you and the plankowner crew. The BZ goes to you and the plankowners who left me a ship that made me an OSC(SW) in 9 years, which is not an easy task.
The CIC crew I worked with from '84 to '89 were the most talented and creative people I know to date, and luckily I am still in contact with darn near all of them. Thanks again for a job well done!
