The beauty and charm of Australia, which we longed for all deployment finally embraced us on 4 August, when we arrived in the quiet city of Bunbury. From the moment we arrived until we departed on 9 August, we were overwhelmed by the warm hospitality and love of the Australian people. Many of us were "adopted" by Australian families who invited us into their homes and took us out into the countryside. We invited them to our ship and were visited by as many as 800 people a day. It was a much needed port visit for all of us, and when we departed on 9 Aug, we left behind us many fond memories.
