We spent a lot of time at Underway Replenishment taking on fuel,
ammunition, and cargo. An all hands evolution, UNREP is a challenge
for ship drivers and fuel riggers alike. It requires the utmost
skill and concentration on all participants. We executed UNREP
flawlessly throughout the deployment. How many times we heard
the words "The ship is making its final approach alongside
USNS PASSUMPSIC", we'll never know. UNREPS kept us well fed, well
fueled, and "on the road again".
