Lt. Commander Dwayne O. Norris is
a graduate of the NROTC program at the University of Wisconsin
in 1963, where he earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Asian
Studies. LCDR Norris has served as ASW Officer, Weapons Officer,
Operations Officer and Executive Officer on ships of the United
States Navy. Under the Officer Exchange Program he served on
the HMS Glamorgan as Torpedo Anti-Submarine Officer. LCDR
Norris was the first U.S. Naval Officer to the Republic of China
Navy Command and Staff College in Taipei. He is also a graduate
of the Defense Intelligence School. LCDR Norris joined the USS
Brewton in September 1976.
