A tin can sailor myself, just browsin' through. I was aboard the Gearing Class Fred T. Berry (DD-858) in the mid-60's. Good luck to all.

Hello y'all, I met a naval aviator, Art Kimmel (how many can there be?!), in Butler PA, Christmas 1980. We travelled from there to Meridian in his Datsun Z T-top (with Husky), then on to San Diego, his new posting. Memorable trip, amazing people, great country.
But sadly, have lost touch and would really appreciate current contact details to catch up.
Best regards,
Patrick Fynn.

Thank you Bubba for your service. We love you H.E, for the brotherly love you have always shown for Bubba. Our prayers are with you on this July 4, 2006 as we say thank you for a job well done.

Great looking website! Very neat and well laid out! I'm the webmaster for the USS Spangler DE-696 website at ussspangler.com I see I could learn a little here on organization and appearance. I'm also in the process of setting up a wwwBoard and will be contacting your seperately on that. Again, nice work!

I visit the site often just to remember some great times and great shipmates. I've found many that I thought I'd lost and deeply appreciate the laughs and tales we share, no matter the distance and the time between calls.

Served on-board from 1984-1987. Loved being in Hawaii. Did one fantastic West Pac. Great crew. Would love to hear from other snipes from that time frame, MM's, BT's. Can't promise I'll remember your name, but I can look you up in the cruise book.

I was stationed onboard the Brewton from 80-83. I have such strong, pleasant memories of my time spent aboard the Bubba-Bee. I also served aboard the Indy out of Norfolk, and then as a civilian, worked the AEGIS shipbuilding program in Arlington, Va. None of that compares to my experiences on the Brewton. While I have seen few of my old shipmates since leaving the Brewton, I think of them often. This web site helps me step back on the deck, if only for a few moments each time I visit it. Thanks for putting this site together and keeping it updated.
